I’ve gone both routes, and while making your own can be fun, I usually end up buying them now. I got a really nice cowrie shell bracelet that’s held up way better than anything I made myself. The details were super clean, and the materials felt stronger too. I think if you're just looking for something that lasts and looks polished, it's worth paying a little more for handmade by someone skilled.
