“We are pleased to welcome Thaib Mustafa, Managing Director & CEO of Smart Tech Asia Pacific, to the Board of Advisors for the XCION 13th Bali CXOs Summit.

Thaib is widely respected as a quantum technology expert, with deep experience in advancing quantum readiness, technology governance, and regional standards development across Asia Pacific. His contributions to MTSB (Malaysian Standards Association) have helped shape important frameworks and best practices that support emerging and frontier technologies.
As XCION continues to evolve as a trusted CXO community, the topic of quantum readiness has become increasingly important—especially as quantum capabilities begin to intersect with AI, cybersecurity, digital innovation, and digital trust. These intersections will shape not only enterprise strategy, but also national resilience and long-term competitiveness across Southeast Asia.
“Quantum technologies are no longer theoretical—they are reshaping national security, economic competitiveness, and digital sovereignty today,” said Thaib Mustafa. “Quantum readiness must be treated as an urgent national priority. It is not only about deploying new technologies, but about building the standards, governance, talent, and trusted regional partnerships that will protect our communications, critical infrastructure, and strategic interests. The nations that act now will lead; those that delay will depend. ASEAN must move forward together, decisively and without delay.”
Looking ahead, Thaib’s appointment aligns strongly with the theme of the XCION 13th Bali CXOs Summit —“Orchestrating the Intelligent Enterprise: Where AI, Cyber Security, Digital Innovation & Customer Experience Converge.”Quantum readiness will increasingly influence how intelligent enterprises design secure systems, scale AI responsibly, and preserve trust across customer and digital ecosystems.
Welcoming Thaib to the board, Sugiarto RM, Founder of XCION, shared his hopes for the community ahead.
“We are honored to welcome Thaib to the XCION Board of Advisors,” said Sugiarto RM, Founder of XCION. “His expertise in quantum and standards brings an important forward-looking dimension to our community. As we move into 2026, my hope is that XCION continues to grow into an even more vibrant, trusted, and collaborative CXO platform—one that helps leaders prepare not just for today’s challenges, but for the future that is already unfolding.”
With Thaib joining the Board of Advisors, XCION looks forward to deeper conversations and stronger collaboration around emerging technologies, leadership, and regional readiness as we build toward Bali and beyond.Orchestrating the Intelligent Enterprise”Where AI, Cyber Security, Digital Innovation & Customer Experience Converge
